Introduction #
There comes times where pricing of a product will need to be changed, updated or a product will need to be removed all together – hey, that’s commerce!
There’s a few ways that this can be done. For one or two products, or a quick repricing, the easiest way is through the back-end of the website. For more than 5 products, we’re in the world of exporting product lists, editing in Excel and then uploading the modified list to make the changes.
Through the Back-end #
First of all, you’re going to want to log into the back-end of the website by navigating to https://cellpakonline.com.au/wp-login.php and entering in your username and password (an email would’ve been sent to you with these details).

The page that you land on after logging in is called the WordPress Dashboard. From the left Nav bar, we can get pretty much everywhere we need to. For what we’re doing now, we need to navigate to Products > All Products.

From the All Products screen, there’s two ways to change the price and stock level of an item. You can either use the Quick Edit method, or you can go into the Single Product Screen and edit it that way.
Use the Search function in the top right to find the product that you want to edit. You can use the SKU or the item name to search.
Quick Edit #
Hover over the product, and click the Quick Edit link. This will open a section under the product with its information. From here we can change certain values, such as Price and Stock Level. Once you’ve made the changes you want to, click Update in the bottom right – you’re done.

Single Product Screen #
To get to the Single Product Screen, hover over the product and click the Edit link. In here, you have all the same options as Quick Edit, plus so many more. To make changes to the price and stock levels, we’ll need to navigate to the Product Data section.
When you’re done making changes, click Update in the top right and you’re done.
